New Mothers' Thoughts of Harm Study

What's the purpose of this study?

UBC, UVic and Island Health are partnering to learn more about the relationship of new mothers’ unwanted, intrusive thoughts of infant-related harm with mental health and parenting.

Eligibility?

Open to mothers of 0-12-month-olds living in Canada, the USA, the UK, Australia, or New Zealand.

What will you be asked to do?

Consists of an online survey.

Expectant Couples Checkup Study

What's the purpose of this study?

To help understand conflict in relationships while expecting a new baby.

Eligibility?

  • You are 19 years or older
  • Expecting your first child
  • Able to communicate in English
  • Are living with your partner
  • Are living in Canada

What will you be asked to do?

Answering a series of questionnaires, including a questionnaire on participant’s experience during the COVID-19 pandemic.
