My work as a maternity nurse over the past nine years has allowed me to work with many expectant mothers and their partners as they welcome their beautiful newborns into the world. Each and every time I witness the birth of a new baby, I feel honoured to be a part of such a miracle.

Educating and supporting expectant parents is a true passion of mine. As a young girl growing up in Saskatchewan, I was inspired by my grandmother ("Baba") who worked as a midwife. To carry on her legacy I became a maternity nurse, childbirth educator, and lactation (breastfeeding) educator. As founder of Baby Prep, I am able to provide individual attention, care, and support to pregnant mothers by sharing my passion and knowledge of the experience of birth.

I currently work  as a maternity nurse at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, where I also teach group childbirth education classes. It is my wish that a pregnant woman feels empowered and confident in her ability to give birth in whatever setting she chooses – and feels equipped with knowledge that will help ease the transition into postpartum and the journey into parenthood.
